These terms govern your use of the Halo Ritual iOS application. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Halo Ritual is a skincare routine tracking and skin analysis application. It helps you build a consistent routine, log daily habits, and track visible changes in your skin over time using automated image analysis.
Halo Ritual is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
Skin scores, observations, and any suggestions in the app are generated by an automated system for informational purposes only. They are not a diagnosis, and they are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional. If you have a skin condition that concerns you, see a doctor.
You need an account to use Halo Ritual. Accounts are created using Sign in with Apple.
Halo Ritual is free to use with certain limits, including a capped number of routine steps and a limited number of lifetime skin scans.
Pro removes those limits and unlocks additional features including unlimited scans, ingredient conflict checking, lifestyle insights, and full history.
New subscribers are offered a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and you will be charged the applicable price.
You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We may change subscription prices. If we do, existing subscribers will be notified in advance and the change will apply from the next renewal. You can cancel before the change takes effect.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You retain ownership of everything you put into the app — your routine, your logged data, and any images you capture.
You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service: running analysis, storing results, and displaying them back to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not use your images to train machine learning models, and we do not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
The app, its design, its code, and its written content are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from them.
Skin analysis is performed by automated image processing. Results are estimates and may be affected by lighting, camera quality, angle, and other conditions. Scores are intended to show relative change over time rather than absolute clinical measurement.
We do not guarantee that the app will identify any particular skin condition, or that following any routine will produce any particular result.
We aim to keep Halo Ritual available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and, where required, a pro-rata refund of any unused subscription period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain all statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that point means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you retain the protections of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
